“TV ONE'S Is Modern Medicine Killing You? is a ground-breaking factual series that challenges the way we look at our health, getting well and getting the right treatment.
Each episode features two patients who have tried to get well using a number of prescription drugs, over-the-counter medication and even bizarre remedies that have no scientific merit at all. When none of these remedies work, they turn to the doctors of Is Modern Medicine Killing You? These doctors have a whole new way of treating them: using integrated medication; natural and complementary medicines; and therapies which have a scientific basis to help treat the patient rather than mask their symptoms.
Right from the initial consultation between the patient and the doctor, the audience sees a diagnosis and watches each patient follow a path to discover what is wrong and what could be the answer to their sickness nightmare. They'll visit specialists, talk to health experts – giving the viewer unprecedented insight into holistic healing. Encapsulated within each case study are fascinating medical facts as well as easy to understand information on common health conditions, treatments and medicines.”
